The 52,325-seat stadium is much like the original. There are soaring cathedral windows on the exterior and the field dimensions match those at the old ballpark in 2008. But its Yankee Stadium on steroids, 62 percent larger than the original.

On April 18, two days after the Yankees suffered their first loss in their new stadium (and a day after their first win, 6-5, in the new park), they went down 22-4 against the Cleveland in a game that included a 14-run inning. The 22 runs the Yanks served up tied the most they have ever allowed at a game in any version of Yankee Stadium.
